My name is Sivan Cohen Avitan, married to Ohn and mother of Itamar, Boaz and Kedem. I was born in Arad and the desert is part of my childhood landscape. My journey to the water begins with my undergraduate special education for preschoolers. There I was exposed to a variety of therapeutic methods, but in the water there was something different. A space that contains, enables, embraces and envelops. After school I worked in the kindergartens of the Ministry of Education in the city and after a while I also opened a private kindergarten, but something inside me asked for a change. The stillness in the water called to me. My body asked for the warmth of the water, the security in it. The calmness of their movement.
